This rare fire safety audit officer position is a hybrid role (2/3 days in office, rest work from home) and would suit a passionate, proactive health and safety enthusiast looking to develop their career. This amazing Health and Safety role would suit motivated safety professionals with NEBOSH Fire qualification and good technical ability and experience such as audits, risk assessment, safety report writing as this is a technical support role. Less experienced Health & Safety professionals with the NEBOSH Fire qualification and the right drive and commitment will also be considered, full training will be offered and further Safety qualifications.

The ideal fire safety audit officer candidate will have the below skills and experiences;

  • NEBOSH Fire certificate -Essential
  • Good technical ability- experience & knowledge of health and safety audits, risk assessments, fire risk assessments, site surveys, action plans and method statements. You will be responsible for checking audits and assessments by Health and Safety consultants so you must have good technical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • You must have a full UK driving licence be willing to travel to client sites in this role. This role is hybrid so you will be office based but will include some travel to client sites with Health and Safety Consultants to audit them and their risk assessments so you must be able and willing to travel,
  • Excellent computer skills- you must have excellent organisation and PC skills (Microsoft word, excel, report writing)
  • Health and Safety / Fire Safety / construction safety /experience in any of these sectors is desirable; construction, commercial properties, residential buildings or client sites, multiple sites or consultancy, commercial industry

You will provide internal office support, audits and technical review of risk assessments on a daily basis. This position is a technical review role, reviewing audits daily for risk assessors and providing technical fire safety advice.
