Job Title: Fire Carpenter

Location: Whiteleaf Centre, Bierton Road, Aylesbury, HP20 1EG

Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday 8am-4pm

Pay: £19.10 per hour

What you'll be responsible for:

Be a key member of the estates team; with the responsibility for completing reactive carpentry works, PPM and small works across the Trust; with responsibility of ensuring that works are completed to the highest standard and meeting all legislation requirements for work undertaken. You will be part of a multi-skilled, multi discipline team and will participate in a 24/7 on call rota.

Responsible for overseeing and supporting any carpentry works undertaken by the Property Maintenance Operatives.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

You'll have the following skills/experience:

· Some knowledge and experience of fire door remedials and fire risk work

· Substantial and significant estates maintenance expertise.

· Substantial and significant practical and theoretical building structure and fabric knowledge

· Extremely detailed knowledge of HTM/HBN requirements in relation to estate management

· Has a good knowledge of IT systems, CAFM workforce systems

· Significant experience in the analysis of method statements and experience in the interpretation and implementation of safety rules and workplace risk assessments working PDA's and experience in clearly recording data.

This role may require you to show evidence of education to Degree level or at least 2 years relevant experience.
