Fire Alarm Service Engineer

We are looking for a fire alarm service engineer to join a local client of ours in Southend and provide high quality service. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing fire alarm systems and associated products in various settings. This role has become available due to the rapid growth of the business and the work is located in Essex and London. 

Responsibilities:

- Service and review fire alarm systems and associated products at client sites, and take responsibility for the maintenance of these systems.

- Complete all new installations and carry out alterations of existing fire alarms. 

- Test and inspect fire alarm systems in accordance with relevant standards and regulations. 

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or faults with fire alarm systems and equipment. 

- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to clients and colleagues. 

Requirements:

- Technical Knowledge and experience of fire alarm systems, both conventional and addressable. 

- Relevant qualifications or certifications in fire alarm engineering, such as ECS Card, BAFE or GENT. 

- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to different locations. 

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

- Competitive Salary (Ranging between £38,000 - £45,000)
