Mortgage Advisor

Full-time. Permanent

Our clients are an award winning, dominant and established Independent estate agent who specialise in the top end of the market.

Due to increased business levels, they have now partnered with a well known and highly regarded Financial Broker and are now seeking a Mortgage Advisor to deal with mortgage leads, life insurance/CI and GI leads. The leads will be provided to you through the company’s branch network. It will be your responsibility to convert these and write the business! You will have access to a great choice of products from which to offer your clients due to their partnership with a leading financial advice company.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to discuss their mortgage needs and financial goals - Provide expert advice and guidance on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms - Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation - Evaluate client creditworthiness and financial information to determine eligibility for mortgage loans - Collaborate with lenders, underwriters, and other professionals to ensure a smooth mortgage approval process - Stay up-to-date on mortgage industry trends, regulations, and changes in interest rates

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues - Excellent analytical skills to assess client financial information and determine appropriate mortgage options - Basic math skills to calculate loan amounts, interest rates, and monthly payments - Attention to detail to accurately review loan documents and ensure compliance with regulations - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Knowledge of mortgage products, loan programs, and lending guidelines

Basic £30k with an OTE of £60k Plus

CeMap qualifications are essential, CAS status essential.
