Financial Services Administrator

Our client is a well-known long-established award-winning provider of some of the best life and protection products and private health products on the market today. Due to maternity leave, we are seeking to appoint appropriate cover to work within their offices in Cambuslang, Glasgow. The duration of the contact is between 7-10 months and may for the right candidate lead to permanent employment.

The purpose of the role is to deliver an increase in the conversion of sales from quotations from the intermediaries who have requested the quotations.

Working alongside field-based colleagues you will use in house data to identify when a quote has been requested by each intermediary. Your role will be to follow this up and provide support to the intermediary in order for the sale to be made.

The ideal candidate will have financial services case management and sales experience and be willing to learn about the products and marketplace in order to maximise your effectiveness when dealing with intermediaries.

You will have experience of dealing within the intermediary market and will be able to demonstrate the following:

Ability to build strong long-term relationships with intermediaries, demonstrating a thorough understanding of their business model and our competitors to drive sales.

Develop and maintain relationships with internal contacts and departments.

Manage a pricing discounting budget to maximise conversion

Analyse statistical information provided in order to identify sales patterns and take appropriate action

Person Specification

Be highly PC literate.

Able to demonstrate experience of managing customer relationships, as well as experience of working with intermediaries.

Have experience in negotiating to achieve win-win outcomes.
