Financial Reporting Manager

We are recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager for a reputable organisation based in Derbyshire on a permanent contract.

You will be responsible for:

• Producing statutory financial statements
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Providing technical analysis to the team on accounting standards, tax and VAT
• Cash flow management including cash flow forecasting, banking mandates and banking relationships.
• Tax computations
• Submitting VAT returns
• Assisting with the audit process and deal with auditor queries
• Working with wider finance team to improve business efficiency

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience of the above duties
• Come from an audit background
• Possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate within the business
• Have strong IT and finance system skills as well as good MS Excel skills
• Have a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
