Key Initial Responsibilities:

  • Input client details onto CRM system
  • New business administration
  • Liaise with clients for new business information, Terms of Business, tax returns
  • File checking for completeness
  • Liaise with product providers (e.g., for valuations, trusts, product terms)
  • Help advisers with meeting preparation, new client packs, agendas etc
  • Involvement in wider company projects as appropriate

Developing Into:

  • Attend client meetings with adviser and schedule post meeting actions
  • Technical research
  • Completing fee estimates
  • Build financial plans on Prestwood system
  • Draft simple suitability letters
  • Complete simple tax returns

General Responsibilities:

  • Observe the firm's 'standards', be a team player and support colleagues
  • Comply with FCA conduct rules at all times
  • Adhere to the relevant compliance, Consumer Duty, T&C and financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud, and corruption) procedures of the firm at all times
  • Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes and ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately
  • Respond to client contact and requests quickly and correctly
  • Ensure all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Proven interest in the industry
  • Experience is preferred but not required
