Eventus Recruitment Cheshire are seeking a Financial Planning Client Administrator to join a dynamic and fast-paced team in Congleton, Cheshire. Working in the Client Services team, reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be liaising closely with the team of Wealth Managers. You will be responsible for the impeccable management of business submission, preparing adviser meetings packs, ensuring client records remain accurate and complete, and managing a high level of plan information requests (Letters of Authority). Role Responsibilities

The incoming Financial Planning Client Administrator will have previous experience in a Financial Planning Administration role. Responsibilities within this Financial Planning Client Administrator job include:

  • Sending letters of authority to plan providers and preparing information received for adviser presentation.
  • Processing business applications accurately and taking ownership and accountability of client cases through to completion. This includes liaising with product providers, advisers, clients, and other third parties to ensure that each case completes in a timely manner.
  • Preparing adviser meeting packs and portfolio valuations as requested.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all client records, including saving of product information and client documentation in a standardised manner.
  • Providing administrative support to the financial advisers and management as required.
  • Maintaining technical competence at an appropriate level to meet the requirements of the role.
  • Ensuring all client communication is stored and evidenced appropriately.
  • Assisting with the management of the client record management system for all aspects of the wealth managers’ clients.
  • Upholding a high level of confidentiality and professionalism among staff, clients, and professional key stakeholders whilst projecting a professional image in both appearance and attitude, providing quality support on time to agreed standards.
  • Supporting the day-to-day business operations within the practice when required.

Person Specification

The successful Financial Planning Client Administrator will have a proven record in a previous financial services administration role or be able to prove that you are able to meet the criteria below. You should be happy working full time from an office and have excellent written English skills. Also, you will have:

  • Faultless interpersonal skills, assertive whilst friendly with a professional demeanour.
  • Impeccable face-to-face and telephone client interaction skills and ability to build rapports swiftly with all manner of personalities.
  • Impeccable written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to adapt and learn the use of internal systems and databases.
  • Good at managing own workload and ability to prioritise tasks whilst retaining a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management with the ability to multi-task and change focus throughout the day when necessary.
  • An ability to remain calm when faced with conflicting demands whilst demonstrating a positive attitude at all times.
  • Highly self-motivated, attentive and demonstrates a can-do attitude.
  • Must be a team player.
