Financial Planning Analyst

We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis professional for an interim position. The ideal candidate will be immediately available and have a proven track record of successful interim projects. This role involves providing critical financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

• Develop financial models and conduct analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Analyse current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement.
• Coordinate with various departments to prepare financial plans and budgets.
• Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against the budget.
• Prepare financial reports for management, highlighting trends and analysing variances.
• Assist with the forecasting process and analyse financial risks.
• Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts, and profitability.

• Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with a strong background in interim project work.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to report complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• A professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
