Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious Financial Lines Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Executive Lines, particularly in D&O and Cyber insurance, and demonstrate exceptional skills in client support, business growth, and new business acquisition. As an integral part of our team, the Account Executive will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio ranging from £250,000 to £1,000,000 million, this will be a new business position where you will be growing your own book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management and Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, policy renewals, and claims management, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues.

Business Growth and Development:

  • Drive business growth within the Financial Lines sector by identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand existing client portfolios.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to achieve short-term and long-term business targets, leveraging market trends and client insights.

New Business Acquisition:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Financial Lines market, demonstrating a strong appetite for new client acquisition.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and networking skills to generate leads, conduct prospecting activities, and secure new accounts.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including account handlers and underwriters, to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Contribute proactively to team meetings, sharing insights, best practices, and market intelligence to drive collective success.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on Financial Lines, particularly D&O and Cyber insurance.
  • Proven track record of success in account management, business development, and new client acquisition, preferably within a similar brokerage or agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, policy coverage, and underwriting principles, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate terms, and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII, CII) or progress towards certification would be advantageous.
