Financial Controller

Robert Half are excited to be partner with a fast-growing organisation within the beauty industry, to recruit a Financial Controller.

We are ideally seeking a candidate who is ACA/ ACCA qualified, audit trained and has post qualification experience as a Finance Manager or equivalent, looking to step up (or across) into a Controller role.

This is an incredible opportunity, to report directly to a successful Finance Director, bridging the gap between them and the Finance function.

Location: Central London

Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office. Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the finance function.
• Budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Produce the monthly management accounts with commentary.
• Explanations of variances against budget, forecast and comparative periods.
• Lead the finance team and mentor junior staff to ensure their professional development.
• Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee the tax reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Prepare and present financial reports to management.
• Liaise with payroll providers.

Required Knowledge:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Audit trained.
• Post qualification experience.
• People management experience (desirable).
• Hands-on approach.

The successful Financial Controller will recieve a base salary between £85,000 - £95,000 + benefits package.
