Head of Finance - £65,000 - £70,000 -  North Hampshire (hybrid working)

Trace Recruit is delighted to be supporting the CFO of private equity backed business, who is on the hunt for a Financial Controller.

The Financial Controller will manage all finance functions ensuring accounts are finalised within set deadlines. Working closely with the CFO, you will ensure consistencies, efficiencies and improvements are maintained
 
About Your New Role
  • Managing training, and setting objectives with the accounts team
  • Prepare monthly management accounts from trial balance processing main accounting entries and resolving queries.
  • Preparation and monitoring annual and ongoing budgets.
  • Complete month and year end procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles
  • Develop new procedures for smooth running of the department/group.
  • Management of the daily cash flow.
  • Minimising exposure to stock and work in progress.
  • Oversee invoice finance and Financial Audits.
  • Oversee the credit control function.
  • VAT return
Your Skills & Qualifications:
  • Professional Accountancy Qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Recent experience of producing management accounts, preparing budget and financial analysis
  • Recent experience leading a finance team.
  • Excellent financial modelling and cash flow management experience.
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing business would be advantageous.
