Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Collaborate with senior management to make strategic financial decisions
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure accurate reporting to regulatory bodies
• Oversee the audit process and liaise with external auditors
• Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth and profitability
• Supervise and mentor finance staff, promoting professional development and enhancing team performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; (ACCA, ACA or CIMA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the Financial Services industry
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
