As the Financial Controller, you will report directly to the owners and play a key role within the senior leadership team. You will be responsible for the company's day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, adherence to regulatory mandates, and the establishment of robust financial strategies and controls.

What we need from you?

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
• Develop and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with External Auditors and coordinate the audit process.
• Monitor the organisation’s cash flow management.
• Develop cash management strategies to optimise financial resources.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, coordinating with external Tax Advisors as necessary.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Contribute to the financial strategic planning of the organization, providing financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations and the broader business.

What you need to succeed?

• Ideally you will be qualified or part qualified CIMA or ACCA or qualified by experience (QBE).
• 3 - 5 years experience in financial management in a similar role
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Be a dynamic, forward thinking, solutions focussed team player, who delivers excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
