Financial Controller – South Lincolnshire – Service Industry - £60-80K (DOE) + bens

We are working with an expanding service company who are looking for a Financial Controller to enhance the Finance team.  This is a newly created role and comes with the succession planning for the Finance Director role.  This company is committed to providing their customers with quality products, outstanding customer service and innovative solutions.  Having invested heavily in their offices and staff they are looking for someone who is hands-on, personable, and has experience of working in high growth SME’s.  Last year the company grew by 23% and is looking to achieve 25% this coming year.

You will be responsible for managing the growing finance team in completing all management accounting activities both daily, weekly and monthly. This role will impact on decision making for the SLT as you will be involved in the forecasting and budgeting of the company enabling the overall performance of the company to go forward on its upwards trajectory.

Key responsibilities….
*            You will be responsible for managing, mentoring, developing, and motivating the accounts team
*            You will oversee the month-end accounts along with accompanying schedules, reconciliations, journal entries and accruals/prepayments as appropriate
*            You will oversee treasury management, including weekly cashflow forecasts
*            You will be responsible for trend and variance analysis
*            You will liaise with the auditors and assist with supporting files to enable a smooth annual audit
*            You will provide support and guidance with costing models and budgeting processes
*            You will contribute to the company financial strategy and decision-making processes
*            You will work with the Senior Management team to ensure robust financial systems, processes are in place and assist with the development and implementation of a future business intelligence solutions
*            You will be responsible for developing and maintaining forecasting models (P&L, B/S and CF)
*            You will lead and assist with projects for the benefit of the business
*            You will deputise for the Finance Director as and when required

*            Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*            Experience of working in a high-growth SME
*            Strong analytical, presentation and Excel skills
*            Experience of developing systems to improve reporting requirements
*            Have a “self-starting” mindset
