Financial Controller

Financial Controller | PE-backed technology group | £70,000 | Central London / hybrid working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to assume a high profile role within the group finance function of PE-backed technology group based in the heart of central London. Reporting into the Head of Group Reporting with a dotted line to the Group FC, the UK Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects UK financial reporting including actuals reporting, budgeting and forecasting. The successful candidate will join a cohesive, collaborative team of dynamic individuals and be offered varied progression routes within the organisation at group and divisional level.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Producing management reporting on a monthly basis including P&L and cash flow whilst providing detailed analysis of actuals versus budget/forecast
• Preparing the budget on a yearly basis for the UK holding companies, in addition to quarterly reforecasts
• Supporting the Group Finance team with the year-end process
• Supporting the development of a Management Accountant

Key candidate requirements:

• Qualified accountant with some PQE spent in an industry setting
• Experience of monthly reporting and a multi-currency environment (not necessarily at the same time)
• Knowledge of IFRS and the preparation of VAT returns
• Group finance exposure

The business is based in central London and operate a very flexible hybrid model - finance come together in the office just once per week (although will expected to be there more often during year-end).
