Radley Green are working with a fast growing and multi-faceted business as they seek a Financial Controller to join their team.

The role will report into the Finance Director and will oversee the wider finance team, review monthly management accounts and manage the year end process.

The role will pay up to 80k DOE and will be based in the office 5 days a week, reducing to 4 after probation.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial control and reporting of the financial performance of the various entities of the group
  • Develop financial functions across each business, updating and implementing important policies, processes, and systems.
  • Communicating financial performance to senior stakeholders and accurate reports
  • Lead weekly cash flow management, budgeting & forecasting.
  • Deliver monthly analysis for group companies and manage budgets & forecasts
  • Assist with production and review of monthly management accounts for all group companies
  • Manage the production of year end statutory accounts.
  • Manage the audit processes.

Role Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5+ years experience
  • Good technical accounting knowledge
  • Commercial experience and experience producing budgets and analysis
  • Team leadership experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with Sage, knowledge of Xero is beneficial
  • High level of Microsoft Excel is essential.
