Financial Controller
Radley Green is partnering exclusively with a high-growth consultancy based in Essex (Chingford) who are looking for their first Financial Controller.
This business has grown rapidly over the past five years and now sits at £70m revenue and has 6 companies in the group. The role reports into the CFO and works closely with the senior management team.
This role will manage a Finance team of 8 people and will be responsible for developing and mentoring the team. The role will also take on the review of monthly management accounts, managing year end audit processes, cash-flow reporting and management and developing controls and processes.
This role will be 5 days a week in the office for the first 3 months then reduce to 4. Working hours are 9-5pm
This is a fast-paced role in a rapidly growing company and candidates must have the ability to multi-task, has strong excel and systems skills and have led and developed teams in the past.
The responsibilities include:
- Manage the financial and management reporting for the group
- Manage and motivate a finance team of 8
- Develop all financial controls and processes
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- Work with external accountants at year end for statutory accounts
- Manage all queries related to company cars, HMRC etc
- VAT and Corporation Tax management
This role requires someone who is:
- A Qualified accountant with strong team management skills and experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and business partner at all levels
- Strong excel and systems experience - candidates must have used Sage in the past
