Think Accountancy and Finance are supporting a long-standing client in Elstree in the recruitment of a Financial Controller.

The position will be working for a Global business and have the responsibility of a wide variety of financial reporting, analysis and compliance task. The position will manage a small team in the UK.

Main duties include:

  • Financial and Management reporting - monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Consolidation of branch accounts
  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • FP&A
  • Managing the Treasury function
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP
  • Managing the company audit
  • Produce the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Variance reporting
  • Oversee the credit control processes
  • Ensure effective and robust financial controls that are in place
  • Lead and motivate the finance team

Our client is looking for someone with good planning and organisationals skills coupled with strong leadership experience. It is essential to have a solid understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS.

The company use SAP so experience of this software would be highly desirable.

Due to the level of role, the company are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who is Qualified ACCA or CIMA.

The company are paying a competitive salary as well as a company bonus. They currently operate a hybrid working model with 2 days a week in their Elstree office.
