Financial Controller.

Residential Developer, Bedford

£70,000 plus £6,000 Car, 20% bonus and benefits.

SRM are working with a highly regarded residential developer that is looking to recruit a business focused Finance Manager/Controller. The opportunity reports into the Finance Director and will deputise in their absence. This role has a clear focus on overseeing the finance team, working with operations and improving efficiencies and reporting.

You will:

• Partner different business units to improve efficiency, forecasting and operations.
• Work closely with the Finance Director to establish a highly skilled, highly motivated finance team.
• Oversee the regional finance function with accountability for processes & controls.
• Deliver accurate and insightful outputs in a timely manner, continuously improving reporting.
• Work with the sales teams, understanding sales rates and deliveries.
• Take an active role in land appraisals, assessing potential risks.
• Provide monthly and quarterly forecasting to a range of departments within the business.

This role offers significant exposure across the business, the chance to utilise both finance and commercial skills and outstanding career progression. You will be a qualified accountant with experience of operating in a similar capacity within the property sector.
