Salary Range: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum

Position Overview:
They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial aspects of their construction projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and maintain financial models to support project planning and budgeting.
Analyze project costs, revenue, and profitability to identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making.
Budget Management:
Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets and forecasts.
Monitor project expenses and revenue to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or sustainability.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Present financial performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management:
Assess financial risks associated with construction projects and develop mitigation strategies.
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions that may impact project finances.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and project cost management.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Excel and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
