This business is at early stage of revenue generation after the launch of their most recent version of the product. The business is achieving significant early success, with pipeline to introduce their product to several household names. Currently operating with a portfolio CFO and Outsourced Bookkeeper, they are looking to bring in an ambitious individual to take control of the finance department, covering all aspects of finance with a real roadmap to eventually progress to CFO level. The individual will have overall responsibility for finance with the opportunity for mentorship from an exceptional CFO, with the business planning on going through Series-A early next year. 

Responsibilities:

• Build and design a best-in-class accounting function, scope to bring finance in house and build a team.
• Managing day-to-day finances.
• Create a robust system of financial controls and processes. 
• Manage audit process, set up for businesses first audit. 
• Ownership over financial modelling. 
• Business partner across all departments.
• Support CEO with commercial and planning activities. 
• Key support to management to support decision making. 

Qualifications:

• Fully qualified accountant with relevant post qualified experience.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with working in a early stage tech startup/scaleup.
• Real interest in CleanTech.
