Investigo is partnered with a Globally Recognised Media Production and Streaming business to support in hiring a Financial Controller into their team to support the production and studio divisions of their business on a UK and International scale. This is a crucial role for the business and sits within the Group function whilst also staying business facing.
The role
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the management and consolidation of financial statements and management reporting. Working closely with the Business Partners / Leads of various subsidiaries, you will need strong communication skills to ensure that all stakeholders are receiving the information they require in a succinct, reviewable manner.
Your experience within large, complex organisations will enable you to bring knowledge of best in class controls and processes which you will continually develop.
In this role, you will take on a reviewer role and ensure that the financial control exercised by your team is adept and in a format that can be presented to senior stakeholders within the business. You will work closely with the Head of Reporting to advise on technical accounting treatment and liaise closely with the auditors.

The ideal candidate:
To succeed in this role, you will have a background in audit, financial accounting and control.
- ACA / CIMA / ACCA
- Exposure to large businesses
- Preference for Media experience or an interest in the sector
- 5+ years PQE
- Strong communicator in both written and oral settings

This role can be based in Central Manchester or London, offering hybrid working with 1 day per week from the Manchester office.
