Financial Controller - Hotels

Your new company
Prestigious Hotel Group in the heart of Manchester City Centre are looking for a Financial Controller to join their elite and ambitious team. The Finance Controller will play a pivotal role in their financial management and strategy.

Your new role

• Budget Management: Prepare and manage the hotel's financial budgets, including revenue projections, expenses, and cost controls.
• Payroll Oversight: Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with tax laws.
• Financial Reporting: Generate timely and accurate financial reports for management review.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust financial procedures to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to resolve financial issues and optimise financial performance.
• Forecasting: Assist in forecasting financial trends and identifying areas for improvement.
• Audit Coordination: Manage aspects of year-end audits and liaise with auditors.

What you'll need to succeed
* Knowledge of hotel or hospitality accounting.
* Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience
* Advanced Excel knowledge with exposure to Pivot Tables and Complex Formulas.
* The ability to work well under pressure and use your initiative to problem-solve.
* Strong communication & relationship building skills
