Financial Controller Designate

Butler Rose are exclusively supporting an innovative Taunton based business leading its industry to hire a Financial Controller Designate

In this role you will work closely with the business to ensure the finance function can support business growth and development

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and monitoring of the business plan.
• Lead and motivate the finance team, setting clear objectives and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage financial accounts, budgets, transactions, and risk evaluation.
• Oversee controls, compliance, and communication within the finance department, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

The successful candidate is likely to be fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) but this is not essential, with excellent communication skills and previous experience gained in a finance leadership position ideally.
