Financial Adviser (Wealth Planner)
Candidate Requirements:
· Solid experience of managing private client relationships and providing financial advice
· Experience across a range of products and asset classes is essential; EIS/VCT (desirable, not essential)
· Hold SPS
· Be adaptable to work with clients across all wealth bands and communicate effectively across all levels
· Strong sales and presentation skills, to develop additional business
· Keen to achieve Chartered status

Role:
Our Client has ongoing requirements for additional experienced Financial Advisers (Wealth Planner) within the North East/Yorkshire area, to manage existing client relationships and develop additional business
This is a key client-facing role, having responsibility for client wealth planning, client relationships and for supporting the client in engagement with our investment managers. The role acquires new clients, through referrals and by pro-actively presenting the service to potential clients and to introducers including solicitors and other professional connections.
Responsibilities:
- To maintain the highest standards of client care, professional conduct and regulatory compliance
- Ensure that all aspects of financial planning and investment management are offered to clients including:-
- Retirement planning including cash flow modelling
- Succession planning including consideration of IHT
- Pension management including Defined Benefit transfers
- For corporate clients, Employee Benefit solutions
- Protection
- Recommended appropriate investment solutions - To acquire new clients and grow revenues
- Support team working across the business
- Personal development, maintain and record CPD
Qualifications
Ideally Chartered however, must hold DipPFS (or equivalent) as a minimum
