My client is an award winning Chartered independent financial advice business who I have met and placed 20+ staff into the business over the past 5 years including most of the management. The business has been operating for 25 years and they have built a lasting reputation for providing the highest levels of advice and understanding their customers’ needs in granular detail. They advise on Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT, Trusts, Mortgages and Protections. They work with c.1000 active clients who are SME owners, retirees and City professionals, however they have a keen interest in working with those from the creative industries (musicians, actors, artists, television personalities etc.) with varying levels of investable assets ranging from £100k - £5m. The firm is growing following a recent acquisition by a large national firm which has given them a lot of investment and resources resulting in the capability to recruit in their support function.

The role

The Directors are creating a brand-new role within the business for a Financial Administrator to work in a pooled team of forward-thinking Administrators. The role would be suitable for a graduate with a degree in a relevant topic (Economics/Maths/Business/Management or similar) and has some very basic financial services experience, ideally 6 - 12 months within wealth management, banking, savings or investment provider etc. but with a desire to work in the industry and study for relevant industry exams. The Directors have a track record of supporting development and progression for it’s support staff and this role has a route to being a Paraplanner.
