Financial Accounting Manager

We are seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Description

• Manage and oversee all facets of the company's accounting operations
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Ensure all statutory tax reporting requirements are accurate and paid to deadlines
• Compile all other statutory requirements
• Oversee all Treasury management

Profile

A successful Financial Accounting Manager should have:

• ACCA or ACA qualified
• Technical knowledge of UK tax and statutory reporting requirements
• Solid experience with financial analysis and forecasting
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Strong levels of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal and presenting skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant accounting software
