country.  As we continue to grow, we are
seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join our team and play a key role in
our success story.

As a Financial Accountant, you will take a leading role,
supporting the Financial Controller, in ensuring that transactions are
accounted for correctly under FRS102, that Company financial procedures and
policies are effective and complied with and will be responsible for delivery
of timely and accurate group reporting pack and statutory accounts.

You will be responsible for the financial accounts team,
ensuring that the Company meets all statutory and reporting requirements,
accurately accounts for all financial and tax transactions and to ensure that
an effective system of financial control is in place.

About you

  • You must be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with
    post-qualification experience.
  • You should have experience preparing financial statements
    and applying FRS 102 to critical accounting judgements and transactions
  • Experience in the hospitality or leisure industry is
    advantageous.
  • Highly developed specialist knowledge and experience in finance,
    financial accounting or financial planning
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and
    regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel
    skills.
  • Experience of financial and management accounting and transactional
    service systems
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders; Excellent
    interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
    environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent IT and excel skills including ability to maximise
    benefits from Company IT systems and implement strong governance around IT
    system and data changes.
  • Proven experience of leading, inspiring and shaping a team
    to deliver excellence and high performance.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage a challenging
    and diverse workload.
  • Experience of disseminating highly complex financial
    information.
