Financial Accountant
Equifind have teamed up with a top tier London private equity firm, who have a need for a financial accountant to join the ranks for the next 10 months.
You will join a medium sized finance team and assist with the corporate entity reporting, as well as other ad hoc projects that they have lined up.
Key duties and responsibilities for this financial accountant position include:
- Preparation and report monthly management accounts for senior management
- Ownership of the month end close process for a number of corporate entities, which includes BS reconciliations and PnL cost review vs Budget
- Assist with the preparation of the consolidated group accounts
- Oversee the financial reporting across the entities and support the annual audit process
- Oversee the accounts payable and expenses function
- Help prepare the annual budget for the business
- Support the production of UK tax computations; including VAT and Corporation tax
- Support the senior management with MI reporting and analysis
- Improve the controls function and processes for the future
- Providing ad-hoc support for the team with certain projects
Experience & Qualifications
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-5 years PQE
- Experience of working within financial services would be advantageous, ideally Private equity
- Experience of reporting under multiple GAAPs would be preferable
- Strong excel skills
- Experience of Netsuite would be a plus
- Strong communication skills as you’ll be mixing with stakeholders across the business daily

An international private equity that is a major player in this field. You will be joining a high-performance business, as well as a high performing team.
The business has grown considerably over the past 10 years and they have a substantial AUM.
With offices across the globe, you will work closely with the wider finance teams on a daily basis, to ensure top level reporting. This will offer a high level of responsibility and you will support the finance team to help prepare high level reports for senior management.
The finance team has a great cultural feel to it, so you’ll enjoy working with a variety of characters.
The office in central London is top class and the role requires you to be office based, four days per week, with Friday being a designated WFH day.
Salary/Rate
This exciting opportunity for a financial accountant will pay between £70k-£85k per annum, depending on experience.
Duration will be a minimum 10 months and ideally start within the next few weeks.
