Working for this specialist engineering design and construction company, you’ll take the position of Financial Accountant for the next 9-12 months in this Fixed Term Contract role. You’ll ensure audits are managed and accounts are in order, delivering accurate and timely financial information across the business.


Salary – Up to £60,000 Per Annum

Location – London / NW1 / Hybrid working available

Role Type – Fixed Term Contract / 9-12 Months / Monday-Fri / 40 Hours

The Role


Working with the wider finance team, you will gather and monitor financial data, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets and income statements, and forecast costs. You'll also be responsible for preparing budget and cash flow reports, attending budget holder meetings, and handling VAT returns and payments to HMRC.


Other duties will include preparing prepayments and accruals, organising and completing audits, managing month-end and year-end close processes, and performing balance sheet reconciliation. You will also prepare and complete statutory accounts, manage revenue recognition, advise on cash flow, calculate practice surplus profit distribution, and prepare and post monthly journals.


Ideally you will have the relevant financial qualifications such as CIMA / ACCA. We are also open to candidates qualified by experience.
