Financial Accountant

We are partnering a global professional services and solutions business with their search for a Financial Accountant.

A PE backed business, they have a rapid growth trajectory and are looking for ambitious and career driven people to join their team on a contract basis.

As part of their global accounting function for the Group, the role will include preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, management, and statutory accounts, along with technical finance accounting activities. This role is primarily focused on Group-related accounting, including Pensions, Leases, IFRS2, IFRS9 and is responsible for the Head Office recharges globally.

Candidates will either have relevant Group accounting experience or have a background in professional practice and/or Financial Services. We’re seeking a fully qualified candidate (or nearly qualified with relevant experience) who has good knowledge of IFRS and of UK VAT with strong Excel, partnering and communication skills. Candidates should offer strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be collaborative in nature and keen to join a fast-paced, busy team!

The role is paying £55 - £60k on an FTC basis, operates a hybrid working policy (1-2 days on their Portsmouth office) and free parking alongside a range of benefits.
