£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Then this is the role for you, we are currently recruiting for a Northampton based charity that are looking to bring in a Financial Accountant into their established team. This role is based in office in Northampton but may be able to offer some hybrid working for the right candidate.

So what would your responsibilities be? 

• Producing statutory and management accounts
• Creating reports for the board & SLT team
• Financial analysis
• VAT returns
• Preparation of annual budgets
• Review and approval of supplier payments, payroll & BACS
• Liaising with auditors

But what experience do you need? 

• Recognised Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience in preparation and completion of Statutory Accounts & VAT Returns
• Advanced excel is essential
• Sage experience would be desirable
• Prior experience within charity would be desirable
