Our client, a thriving manufacturing and distribution business in Leicester, is actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, the chosen candidate will play a crucial role in:
  • Lead production and analysis of management accounts, ensuring financial insight.
  • Supervise a compact team for efficient collaboration and productivity.
  • Conduct meticulous control account and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, and enhance inventory controls.
  • Oversee fixed assets register and maintain precise general ledger.
  • Handle VAT returns with accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in month-end completion and contribute to ad-hoc reporting.
The correct candidate:
  • A part qualified or qualified ACCA,ACA or CIMA
  • Experience of import and export ideal but not crucial
  • Confident at presenting financial information to senior management confidently.
  • Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced accounting team environment within a large organization.
  • Looking to improve processes
