Financial Accountant

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are excited to be partnering with our client, a growing and dynamic business based in North Bristol, in their recruitment of a Financial Accountant on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be paid up to £56,500 + benefits. This role provides an excellent foundation for someone looking to make their first move out of practice or someone with prior financial accounting experience looking for a change.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of consolidated group accounts
• Preparation of information for annual audit and key point of contact for auditors.
• Support the Group finance team in preparing monthly, consolidated information for reporting
• Tax compliance and regulatory reporting
• Support the continued improvement of accounting process and control. Including supporting the delivery of a Sarbanes Oxley compliant control environment
• Stay abreast of changes to financial reporting standards and report key issues to the management team
• Support the finance management team with ad-hoc projects

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA)
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS
• Prior audit experience
