I am currently working with a manufacturing company who is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant.  They pride themselves on building long-term relationships with their customers.

The main aim of the role is to produce and analyse financial information and preparing accurate and timely financial reports.

Financial Accountant responsibilities include:

  • Produce monthly consolidated management accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet & cash flow statements
  • Providing variance analysis and related commentary
  • Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare audit pack for year end
  • VAT and tax returns
  • Monthly sales reports
  • Complete all ONS returns
  • Accruals and pre-payments

Financial Accountant skills and experience:

  • Part qualified or qualified by experience
  • Solid experience of financial reporting
  • Ability to analyse data & problem solve
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Advanced Excel skills
