Financial Accountant

Supplier to the construction industry requires a Group Financial Accountant for their growing team. Reporting to the Group FD the Group Financial Accountant will assist in preparing and reviewing the financial accounts and controls from a highly technical statuary viewpoint. You will be expected to assure the accounts for the group are produced to high technical standard both for internal and external use.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Review and prepare the monthly financial accounts from a highly technical viewpoint.
• Prepare the consolidated Group Accounts
• Support the maintenance of robust financial controls across the organisation
• Review financial controls and investigate issues should they arise
• Recommend Improvements and monitor implementations
• Assist in the preparation of monthly statutory accounts
• Maintain the financial process in place that allow the monitoring of the financial health of the business
• Liaise with external auditors and take ownership of the year external audit
• Develop accounting policies
• Assist in acquisitions

The successful candidate for this role will have experience in the above, working as a Financial Accountant.
