Search are excited to be working with an internationally listed consumer based organisation who operate in the business centre of London looking for a high calibre financial accountant to join their finance team with a bias on payroll.

A Fortune 500 business with unlimited and growth opportunities this would be the perfect first or second move for an individual with accountancy practice experience. You'll join a renowned team and add value from the very start, implementing and streamlining new incentives alongside supporting on strategic decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the financial accounting and reporting for payroll
  • Month end close
  • Record monthly payroll entries
  • Monthly monitoring of relevant accruals and prepayments
  • Streamlining and automating processes with novel ideas
  • Work on ad-hoc projects to support integration of new systems and processes
  • Business partner with key internal stakeholders
  • Providing key analysis on potential improvement areas
  • Work with external auditors on any queries
  • Balance sheet reconciliations

Person:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
  • Strong academic background
  • Personable with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of technical accounting, IFRS, UK and US GAAP
