Financial Accountant

Your new company
Your new company is a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced media group who have relocated to Manchester City Centre. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for facilitating and delivering financial activity for the business. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes and be timely and accurate in your delivery of reporting, accounting and controls. You will be focused on driving best practice to enable effective process improvement and have the opportunity to be involved in decision-making for wider business implementation. You will prepare financial statements, perform variance analysis and manage the full record to report process.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven experience of financial reporting and be well versed in accounting principles such as IFRS. You will be a strong communicator with a proactive approach and a positive attitude and be driven to progress in your career. You must have exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail, along with the ability to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
