Experienced Financial Accountant required for a technology client with offices in the South of England. You must be UK based.

Duties

  • VAT returns for UK and foreign entities
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for all VAT & tax accounts in multiple entities
  • Corporate tax returns including UK RDEC claim
  • Preparation and consolidation of financials for UK statutory accounts
  • First point of contact of US, UK and foreign subsidiary audits
  • Providing guidance to team on policy/regulation changes and maintenance of policy documents
  • Management of global insurance policies and maintaining relationships with foreign brokers
  • Management of all foreign statutory submissions
  • Providing Adhoc reports for internal and external stakeholders

Experience

  • Must be used to reporting into a USA owned business
  • 5 years of audit and tax experience
  • Good understanding of IRFS and US GAAP
  • Experience of working in a multi-currency, multi country operation
  • Experience working in the technology sector desirable
  • NetSuite would also be desirable
