Finance Service Delivery Manager
  • Annual Salary: £71,663 - £82,688
  • Location: Hounslow, London
  • Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (minimum 2 days a week in Hounslow)

We are seeking a Service Delivery Manager to oversee the transactional Finance and Accounts services for our clients. This role is pivotal in managing services including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Rent Accounts, and BACs Payment services, with potential for expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable service lines, implementing process improvements, and driving change management.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage team performance against budget and cash targets.
  • Implement and communicate operational strategies in line with the Business Plan.
  • Work with the Senior Management team to identify and deliver new F&A services and win new clients.
  • Identify and realise opportunities for account development to achieve organic growth.
  • Achieve contractual Service Level Agreements and meet all Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures relating to the Service Lines under management.
  • Provide leadership and development for the service teams.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and automation opportunities across the service.
  • Drive and deliver process changes to improve service delivery.
  • Manage staffing levels effectively.
  • Set and manage team performance targets.
  • Identify and control operational risks across the service.
  • Ensure adherence to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Enthusiasm and drive to develop and deliver a transformation programme.
  • Ability to motivate and influence teams to adopt new ways of working.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving change management within a service line.
  • Strategic thinking and collaboration skills to set and agree on priorities with the Finance and Accounts Senior Leadership team.
  • Effective communication skills across various levels of seniority.
  • Experience in improving team performance.
  • Professional qualifications or equivalent level of experience.
  • In-depth service delivery background, preferably in a commercial outsourced environment.
  • Local Government Sector specific service delivery expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent prioritising, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with excellent people management abilities.
