Finance Reporting Manager- RTR

Permanent - Full Time

Remote / Office, with global travel

Up to £75,000 plus bonus and car allowance

T2M have been appointed to recruit a Finance Reporting Manager - 'Record To Report’ (R2R) for a global group with a turnover in excess of £4B. This is newly created opportunity that will be accountable for the Management Finance Reporting roadmap, including developing new report and reporting systems, ensuring synergy and alignment with stakeholders on a local and 'shared services’ level that are 'fit for purpose’.

This role will develop as the business moves through its change and transformation program. We are looking for a qualified accountant with great technical accounting and commercial reporting experience, who has proven skills in developing world class Management Financial Reporting within a large multi-national organisation, along with the ability to identify the 'needs and desires’ of reporting at both local and group level.

This key appointment will report into the Head of R2R, helping to shape and implement SAP / ERP implementations / change programmes to increase efficiency in the organisation. This will be a remote role with some travel in the UK and occasional trips to global locations as required.

What you be doing in your role as Finance Reporting Manager:

  • Working as part of the RTR Process Team to lead and define Management Finance Reporting and the functional development of SAP across the geographic regions.
  • Communicate and build the suite of core automated Management Finance Reports and manage the transition from legacy Financial Management Reporting to new self-serving capability.
  • Be the accountable owner for global process standardisation and optimisation, including the collaboration with other finance leaders to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements to be a successful Reporting Manager:

  • Ideally qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent.
  • Degree in an accounting or finance.
  • Ideally 5 years of experience in developing Management Financial Reporting in a large multinational. We will consider candidates that have worked in the consulting sector (e.g. Deloitte or Accenture or similar).
  • Confident and articulate with great influencing and communication skills to build effective relationships with different stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Business process improvement experience.
  • Inquisitive and detail focused - happy to dig into information to find solutions to issues.
  • Excellent SAP ECC6 / SAP S4 HANA / SAP BW / SAP SAC experience essential.
  • Strong systems experience in Finance ERP implementation or large-scale change programmes, ideally (SAP ECC6 & S4 HANA).
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Multiple management reporting and consolidation would be advantageous.
  • Must have a driving licence and be happy to travel within the UK & globally.
