Finance Reporting Consultant

Profile:

Detillens is working with a top tier Financial Services Institution based in Glasgow and we are hiring for a role within one of their Finance Teams. This is a global team and the successful candidate would be working in a Finance team facing off to global stakeholders across the department. Please note that this role will be located in Glasgow and will require a minimum of 2 days in the office per week, sponsorship is not possible for this role.

The role will focus on ensuring the reporting of criticial Finance data to regulators and internal stakeholders on a daily and monthly basis. Working in a fast paced envirionment with a dynamic team, the person will need to work with and examine financial data from mutliple sources, working with Finance stakeholders to ensure that both internal and external reporting demands are met. 

Skills and Experience: 

• A qualified accountant, or someone with a related degree and professional experience is required. 
• Experience within Financial Services is preferable, specifically within a Finance department, but otherwise wider Professional Services experience as an Accountant or Finance consultant is desirable. 
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, a naturally inquisitive mind andhighly motivated to learn and develop.
• A high level of capability to use Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, Functions and Formulas etc)  
•  Any experience using tools such as Power BI would be useful
• Will be able to work under pressure effectively and be able to develop practical solutions to business reporting problems, working within a team. 
• An ability to manage your work load effectively, prioritise and adapt, and develop practical solutions multiple issues.
