Our client:

A global healthcare company with a positive and collaborative work environment.

The role:

Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will support the finance manager in the post acquisition integration of a recently acquired company.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with the Finance Manager under the guidance of the steering committee to integrate the accounting processes and systems of a newly acquired businesses. This will include General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable flows.

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the end-to-end process, the transactional flows, financial and operational controls and process risk.

  • Work as part of a cross functional team, including HR, Tax, & Sales to ensure a smooth integration.

  • Work closely with the local team to transition from the proprietary systems to Oracle EBS. Co-ordinate User Acceptance testing and results review.

  • Ensure core processes are documented and build tracking analysis to support compliance. Define and communicate the Delegation of Authority. Set up Chart of Accounts mapping.

Who we're looking for:

Required:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

  • Process Orientated, understands End 2 End processes and how to leverage technology.

  • Able to work 2 days per week in the office in Didcot and travel to Yorkshire staying away 1 night per month

  • Strong communicator

Preferred:

  • Preferred 5 years of related experience.

  • Familiar, Comfortable and Confident with current technology and tools. (e.g. ORACLE , FUSION, Concur, Payroll, etc)
