The Company

A qualified Commercial Finance Analyst is sought by a leading business services group with an enviable portfolio of FTSE 100 and Blue Chip clients. This organisation offers a broad range of services across international offices in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Ambitious growth plans and continued profitable expansion within all markets and regions has created a new opportunity for a Finance Operations Analyst to join the team. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager and providing support to the Partners and Functional Heads, you will be responsible for delivering all financial operational, analytical and administrative elements to one of their largest global clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Operations Analyst

• Conduct regular WIP reviews, producing exception reports
• Raise advanced invoices and liaise with E-Billing function to ensure they are uploaded appropriately
• Monitor cash flows and ensure received payments are dealt with, and stakeholders advised.
• Monitor and collate Matter Value Estimation submissions through client portal
• Attend weekly client core team meetings ensuring all required data and analysis is produced for senior stakeholders (including Partners)
• Produce relevant data for Commercial Finance Manager with regular budget holder meetings, quarterly holdbacks, quarterly billing, and annual retainer negotiations
• Facilitate the payment of invoices and the distribution of monies to Partners in the firm
• Produce variance analysis on MVEs & budgets, monitoring all internal spend against clients data

Skills & Attributes of the Finance Operations Analyst

• Experience of a professional services group is essential to understand the culture and dynamics
• Previous experience as a Revenue Controller, Billings or WIP is highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills with confidence to interact with senior stakeholders is paramount
• A proactive and self-motivated mentality is required to help this individual find new opportunities across the group
• This individual will be a strong team player to ensure that the best service is provided to a highly valued key client
