THE BENEFITS:

£32,000 - £34,834, hybrid working on offer approximately one day per week, an early leave on a Friday at 3.30pm and a 37 hour week.

THE ROLE:

The Finance Officer appointment is to provide cover for a period of 12 months maternity leave and is in the education sector.

You need to have good general accounting experience including preparation of management accounts, prepayments and accruals, journals, assisting with budgets and accounts analysis.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the standard hours are 8am to 4pm and a 3.30pm finish on Fridays.

There will be an occasional need to visit two other sites in the Yorkshire area so candidates must be drivers with their own transport.

THE CANDIDATE:

Ideally you will be AAT qualified or part qualified, however other accounting qualifications will also be considered. You do need to have availability for the duration of the contract and a high degree of systems literacy especially with Excel.

Candidates should have a full driving license and their own transport due to occasional visits to two other sites.

An analytical, investigative and thorough approach is essential, a cheerful, positive personality welcome!
