Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Contract Type: Temp to Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Trust Finance Team to provide comprehensive financial support, administration, and advice across the Trust.
  • Assist in preparing monthly Management Accounts and month-end duties, including processing accruals, prepayments, journals, and fixed asset additions.
  • Monitor budgets, prepare VAT returns, and provide budget reports to departmental heads.
  • Liaise with authorities and grant providers, ensuring accurate income and expenditure reporting.
  • Check payroll time sheets and staff expense claims, generate codes for new starters.
  • Handle Trust credit card transactions, checking and reconciling monthly statements.
  • Assist with financial administration tasks such as reconciliations, maintaining supplier contracts, and supporting payment runs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in purchase ledgers and end-of-month processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel to Cambridge and Haverhill schools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Drivers licence and transport is essential

Pay:

  • Temporary contract: £14-£15 per hour.
  • Permanent contract: £25,120 - £27,336 per year.
