FINANCE OFFICER

You have showcased your ability to maintain financial records accurately, administer VAT returns efficiently, manage invoicing processes effectively, reconcile bank statements meticulously, monitor budgets diligently, and prepare for audits thoroughly. What you'll do:

* Maintain and operate the financial records and accounts like a pro, producing reports and financial summaries as required.
* Administer VAT Returns on a quarterly basis and prepare termly fee runs like clockwork.
* Manage invoicing for all non-fee income sources and ensure proper collection, reconciliation, and banking of monies.
* Reconcile bank statements monthly and issue BACS payments or cheques for all accounts due with precision.
* Monitor expenditure budgets monthly, reporting to budget holders as appropriate and offering advice to ensure best value is achieved at all times.
* Prepare for external audit visits and assist in preparing the School's annual expenditure budgets with diligence.

What you bring:

* Proven experience in finance or accounting roles with responsibility for maintaining financial records and accounts.
* Strong knowledge of VAT administration and budget management.
* Experience in handling invoicing processes and managing non-fee income.
* Proficiency in reconciling bank statements and issuing payments with precision.
* Ability to monitor expenditure budgets effectively and provide insightful advice to budget holders.
* Experience in preparing for external audits with thoroughness.
