My client is a groundbreaking business with a strong global presence who are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a finance team in Manchester.

If you’re a qualified ACA/ACCA professional with Big 4 training and a passion for driving financial excellence, then this is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and working to Group timescales
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee the preparation of annual statutory accounts and managing audit and ensuring timely submission.
• Collaborate with department heads to assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor performance against targets.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, streamline workflows, and drive efficiency.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage a team of finance professionals to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Degree educated
• ACA/ACCA Qualified and have completed training in Big 4 practice
• 5 years post qualification in industry ideally manufacturing.
• First class communication skills to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel is essential/Netsuite experience is preferred.
