Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee for a standalone position. The successful candidate will manage both sales and purchase ledgers, ensure accurate bank reconciliations, and maintain effective credit control. This role is integral to our finance team and requires a professional who is fully conversant with SAGE 50 accounts and Sage 50 Payroll.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Manage sales and purchase ledger operations.
  • Perform bank account reconciliations and credit control tasks.
  • Raise supplier payments through bank transfers.
  • Prepare company accounts including P&L, trial balance, and balance sheet.
  • Compile yearly accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Conduct monthly staff payroll processing.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Produce monthly management accounts and reports for review.
  • Report on cash flow and maintain financial health of the organisation.
  • Download invoices to SAGE from our in-house service system.
  • Maintain continual communication with office management and service department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in bank reconciliation and credit control.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAGE 50 and Sage Payroll.
  • Experience with Bankline and Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with various departments.
